Audiobook vs. eBook vs. A REAL BOOK!

First let me say I am guilty of using eBooks…a lot. A lot a lot. I think over the past year I have only read using an eBook. It’s convenient. I can carry all my books together at once without hassle. I don’t have to go to a store to buy it. If you have a kindle, nook, iPad, or any other type of tablet getting an eBook is just a click away. So yes I like eBooks, you like eBooks, we like eBooks! But whatever happened to having a real book in your hand?

Don’t you miss it? I do! I wish all my eBooks were real books. The kind you can hold in your hands and see the cover on the front. I wish I could just put all my eBooks on a shelf and browse through the titles like you do in a library. Not a virtual library but a real one! Don’t get me wrong eBooks are great but sometimes I just want to hold the book in my hand. Also if your device goes dead then you can’t read your book. That would just be terrible! A real book would never die or need charging!electronic books

One day I will have both the real book and an eBook of my favorite books. You never know which one will come in handy.

Secondly, I’m one of those people that don’t like audiobooks. I have not listened to not one audiobook! How can you say you don’t like them you ask? Well I’ve attempted to listen to audiobooks and as soon as I heard ‘chapter one’ I cringed! I prefer the voice in my head when reading a book to other peoples voices. I know I am not the only person in the world so my opinion doesn’t really matter.Audio book

Audiobooks have great benefits. If your a workaholic or just a busy person you don’t have time to sit down with a cup of coffee or tea and read a book. So yea audiobooks are good for you. You get your reading in without it taking up too much of your time. When you’re traveling and driving a car you can play a audiobook. I mean reading while driving sounds pretty dangerous don’t you think?

Although I am not a audiobook fan I know many of you are! So for all those audiobook people I will try to make an audiobook for my novel!
